“Modi is the Temu Version of Netanyahu”: Pakistani Delegation Slams India’s Violations of International Law

With scathing criticism of India’s administration, former Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari dismantles New Delhi’s rhetoric and calls for urgent bilateral dialogue to restore regional peace and solidarity.
Speaking on Tuesday, June 3rd, Zardari addressed Pakistan’s stance on recent tensions with India, especially in the wake of the U.S.-brokered ceasefire. He condemned India’s response to the terrorist attacks in Indian-administered Kashmir—specifically, the indiscriminate targeting of Pakistani civilians—as a grave violation of international law and “inconsistent with the principles outlined by the UN Charter.”
Despite Pakistan’s initial willingness to cooperate on regional terrorism, Zardari argued India retaliated by casting blame and promoting the narrative that Pakistan—particularly as a
Muslim-majority state—is a breeding ground for terrorism. “The single largest victims of terrorism are in Pakistan,” he stressed.
Drawing comparisons between Indian and Israeli policies, Zardari labeled both as oppressive occupiers. “The actions of the Indian government post-2019, to do with imposing demographic changes in Kashmir, draw parallels with the settler program in the West Bank.”
While India threatened to suspend the Indus Water Treaty—“an act of war,” Zardari warned—he reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to diplomacy, emphasizing that peace and collaboration are essential for regional stability and survival.
